In stay ahead as the market leader in India, Maruti Suzuki reportedly has been working on fresh uplifts in Swift hatchback and Dzire sedan. Recently, sources have spotted the facelifted version of Swift Dzire at Maruti Suzuki’s Manesar facility. The sub-four meter sedan is stated to be based on the upcoming 2016 Swift hatchback’s platform.
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is likely to be continued with petrol and diesel options. The diesel variant is expected to be powered by 1.3 Liter Multijet engine with 5 speed manual transmission. The petrol version is likely to be powered by a 1.2-liter K-Series unit that shall be available in four speed automatic and five speed manual transmission. The new car is expected to be a strong competitor against the likes of Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze and Tata Zest. Pricing aspect is not known for now and may be known post an official announcement made by the company in this regard. Based on anticipation, new Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is expected to be priced around Rs. 5 – 8 Lakhs segment.
Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is likely to receive redesigned 10 spoke alloy wheels as part of cosmetic upgrades. The sedan shall also sport chrome surrounded fog lamps, tinted headlamps and redesigned front and rear bumpers. Apart from features like music system with Bluetooth, AUX and iPod compatibility the vehicle shall also receive features like push button start, keyless entry and power folding mirrors.
