      New Mahindra Xylo launched in five trims

      Mahindra's Xylo much like Toyota's Innova has been the country's favorite in the MPV segment. Owing to strong competition in the Indian automotive circuit, Mahindra has launched the face-lifted version of Xylo in five refreshing trims namely H8, D2, H9, H4 and D4 in the Indian market. The the D2 BS IV is available for Rs 7.86 lakh, D2 BS-III variant is priced at Rs 7.72 lakh, whereas the D4 BS III is tagged at Rs 8.13 lakh. The D4 BS IV is available for Rs 8.27 lakh, whereas the H4 ABS BS IV has been priced at Rs 8.76 lakh, and the H8 ABS BS IV is available for Rs 9.75 lakh. H8 ABS AIRBAG BS IV variant is being offered for Rs 10.12 Lakhs and the top end trim H9 BS IV is tagged at Rs 10.93 lakh. The prices are Ex-showroom Delhi based and are loaded with interesting set of features of its own. On the technical front, the vehicle has received minor upgrades, whereas on the style front, the vehicle looks sharper than before.

      Speaking more on the features aspect, the new Mahindra Xylo gets interesting set of features like electric wing mirrors, front dual airbags, Anti-Lock-Braking system with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, reversing assist with digital display and 60:40 Third row split. Power of about 93.7 Bhp is churned out from the 2.5 litre, CRDe engine in the new Mahindra Xylo. The bigger 2.5 Liter engine is only available in D2 and D4 variants. The D2 and D4 variants are available in BSIII and BSIV options. The 2.2 Liter mHawk engine which is capable of generating about 118 Bhp of power has been used in H4, H8 and H9 variants. The BSIII engine option shall only be available in 3 Tier Cities in India as the engine grade is not allowed in other cities for new cars. The new Mahindra Xylo is loaded with latest set of features like Bluetooth-enabled double-DIN audio system with voice commands, a new instrument cluster and steering-mounted audio and cruise controls. With the latest set of upgrades in the new Xylo, Mahindra is expected to further generate a good amount of sales in the festive season.
