      New Mahindra Bikes on September 29

      Mahindra Two wheelers are ready to introduce its new range of bikes in India on September 29. Mahindra is developing its two wheelers with its 2008 acquisiton ‘Engine Engineering’, a motorcycle design company in Italy. The new launches include a 100c commuter bike as well as a 300cc sports bike model. Mahindra Diabolo is the 300cc bike model that is powered by liquid cooled fuel injected machine with 25bhp of power on tap, while the Cevalo is a 125cc motorcycle with 15bhp of power on offer. Diabolo is priced around Rs. 150,000 while Cevalo is expected to carry a price tag of Rs. 60,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

      The company recently released a teaser video for its upcoming motorcycles which has kindled much excitement among Indian bike lovers. The video is shot on the world renowned Moto GP track Vallelunga located in Rome, Italy and showcases the bike with the Italian credentials. The tag line of the Mahindra’s newest innovation is ‘tested in Italy, coming to India’. Mahindra has also launched exciting campaigns to create excitement about the bikes. It has selected 20 bikers across India that will cruise through 5 different paths in the country and shall report their biking experience on the internet.

      Mahindra states that both the bikes will cater to “masses as well as classes.”
