Jaguar, British luxury car brand, is coming up with its newest iteration of its XF. Both the latest XF and current variant possess engines of similar cubic capacity, though their power output and torque will be different. The new car will be packed with a 2.2 litre diesel engine that produces maximum power of 163 bhp as compared to 190 bhp power output produced by the current edition of the XF.

The upcoming XF will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in around 9.8 seconds, whereas the current XF only needs 8.5 seconds to achieve the same speed. The compromise can be seen in the top speed, as the new XF has maximum speed of 210 kmph while the current model can go up to 225 kmph. The efficiency of the new XF will be quite improved as it will be able to provide a mileage of 18.2 kmpl, though CO2 emission will remain same in both variants.

Some of the notable features of the new Jaguar XF will include electronic climate control, leather seats, navigation system and touchscreen entertainment. The company decided to develop this vehicle in order to increase its market share and compete with rivals like BMW, Mercedes Benz and Audi. It is expected that Jaguar will launch its latest XF with a price tag of around $46,000 by March 2013 in England. After England, the company will shift its focus to India for launching the new XF.
