New Hyundai Verna facelift is one of the most awaited vehicle for this year. Interested Hyundai customers may not have to wait any longer as the vehicle is expected to be launched tomorrow. The third generation sedan is likely to be known as 4S Verna Fluidic. The freshest of the lot, the sedan shall have improved styling, speed, safety and sophistication as compared to the older trims.
Both the petrol and diesel trims shall be available in 1.4 liter and 1.6 liter engine. Both the engines would be available in 4-speed automatic, 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual transmissions.
As for safety the vehicle gets features like Anti-Lock Braking System, Six airbags, Speed and Impact sensing auto door lock. The upcoming vehicle shall also receive electro-chromic rear view mirror with reversing camera display function. As for interiors, the vehicle may be blessed with sliding armrest for driver with storage, height adjustment function for driver seat, rear arm rest, integrated 2-DIN Bluetooth compatible audio system with 1 GB internal memory, multi-functional steering wheel, and much more.
The exterior sports new wing shaped front grille, projector headlamps, newly designed fog lamps, wraparound tail lamps with LED inserts, and much more. Speaking more fuel aspect, the company has stated that the 1.4 liter manual petrol trim delivers 17.43 kmpl, whereas the 1.6 Liter trim delivers 17.01 kmpl and the automatic trim delivers an impressive figure of about 15.74 kmpl. The 1.4 liter diesel trim returns an impressive fuel efficiency figure of about 24.8 kmpl, whereas the 1.6 Liter trim delivers 13.9 kmpl. The automatic diesel variant reportedly delivers about 19.08 kmpl. Pricing aspect is unknown for now, but it is likely to be offered under the 12 lakhs bracket.
