      New Hyundai Tucson likely to emerge as a strong potential in the SUV segment

      South Korean automaker Hyundai Motors has been popular brand in the global automotive market owing to use of innovative technology and stunning designs. Ahead of this year's Geneva Motor show the carmaker has revealed the details of the Tucson SUV. Speaking more on the upcoming vehicle Peter Schreyer, Hyundai's chief designer said, “The all-new Tucson has a bold and athletic presence achieved through refined, flowing surfaces, bold newest generation hexagonal grille — our brand signature.”

      For the Indian market, the SUV shall continue to be carry the Tucson name, whereas in the international market its is likely to be rechristened as ix35. The vehicle shall be available in two petrol as well as two diesel trims. The petrol engine shall be powered by 1.6 Liter engine that shall have feature both naturally aspirated and turbocharged engine output. The naturally aspirated engine generates about 133 Bhp, whereas the turbocharged engine generates about 174 Bhp of power. The diesel trim gets a 1.7 Liter engine that generates 113 Bhp of power, whereas the 2.0 Liter engine generates about two different power outputs of about 134 bhp and 181 bhp of power. The bigger engine is also available in four wheel drive options. The vehicle is available in six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions.

      The SUV based on Hyundai's 2.0 Fluidic design philosophy gets smart front grill that compliments a newly designed headlamp. The interior of the vehicle sports ventilated and heated seats, navigation system and redone "wine red" leather upholstery. The vehicle also gets a 513-litres of boot space for maximum storage space.
