Hyundai Motors India Limited is planning to introduce a new face-lifted variant of its popular small car model – Hyundai i10 in India during the festive season. The model is already ready to be displayed at the upcoming Paris Auto Show in October this year. The car has been spied testing on India roads a multiple times with camouflaged front and rear.

The new model comes with trendy and upbeat modern features like fuel-saving start-stop feature. Hyundai says, in typical city driving conditions, with heavy traffic and constant stop-start motoring, the ISG system should cut the fuel consumption and emissions by up to 15 percent. The exteriors of the car have also been re-designed with sharper tones inspired by ix35 crossover design carrying sharper head lamps and front grille.

Hyundai says that the updated i10 gains from a ‘comprehensive set of advancements’ and will include a new 1.0 litre engine with a CO2 emission figure of 99 grams per kilometre. There will also be a bigger 1.2 Kappa engine that will be tuned for more power and economy with the whole engine range being Euro 5 compliant so that it can be sold in the European market.

Although the model has been caught testing on Indian roads, there are no official or complete images of the model so far.
