South Korean automaker Hyundai Motors will debut the new Hyundai i10 next month at the Paris Auto Show. The company has been working on 1.0L i10 model for some time now and is now ready to flaunt it in the global auto market. Hyundai will benefit from the Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris next October to present a restyled version of its mini-city i10. After the redesigned compact i30, Hyundai seeks to align the new design philosophy for another model. This time it's the youngest i10, which will receive a series of aesthetic and mechanical revisions.

Launched in spring 2008, the Hyundai i10 is a cousin to the Kia Picanto, produced in Chennai in India. According to the magazine, the face lifted variant is expected to borrow several stylistic elements from the recent Hyundai iX35 who took over the Tucson compact SUV. However, there will not be conspicuous exterior changes but the main makeover will definitely come in the form of quality of material and basic form of fittings.

The new model will feature new generation engines that meets Euro 5 pollution standards and comply with the emissions norms. The 1.0-liter engine will deliver emissions of only 99 g / km. The engine is a smaller version of the already popular 1.2 litre model but it is still not clear whether it will be a 3-cylinder or 4-cylinder engine.

There is no official information from Hyundai regarding its launch in the Indian market but there has been growing competitiveness in the domestic market. Auto companies in India are vying to have larger portfolio in small car segment which may make Hyundai Motors India Limited to launch the model in India during Diwali festival.
