Honda Jazz, the premium hatchback that was launched in the Indian market in June 2009, is all set to hit Indian roads in a face-lifted version soon. As per the recent media reports, the new version of Jazz hatchback was spotted under testing on the Indian roads.

The spy pictures of new Jazz were published on a number of automotive blogs and portals, recently. As these snaps show, the new Jazz carries a face-lifted front fascia that include newly styled grille, new bumper and redesigned headlamps.

It is to be mentioned here that a face-lifted version of Honda Jazz is already available in a number of foreign markets. However, the Indian version is expected to be a bit different considering these recent spy shosts. Where the Jazz facelift is available with revised tail-lamps (hosting new LED bulbs), the car that has been recently spotted testing carries the same rear-lamps of existing Jazz.

Moreover, the 1.2L petrol unit of Jazz is expected to be kept unchanged in the new version. The new Jazz would carry a new improved suspension system for better ride and handling. However, the company is yet to make an official announcement regarding the launch of this new face-lifted Jazz in the India market. The car is expected to be rolled-out in Indian sometime around third quarter of year 2011.
