Honda is planning to launch an all new Honda Activa 2009 model in March 2009 called as Activa Deluxe. The new model will have more than simple cosmetic changes. The new model will be having a 110 cc engine which now enables you to compete with any powerful bikes. This engine will be sourced from its current model Aviator but the variomatic transmission will be the same as in earlier model.
The new model will also sport a combined braking feature which will allow the vehicle to come to a complete halt by pressing even one break. This is a benefit for those who are often not sure which break to press first. Apart from the engine difference, the new metallic body parts in the new Honda Activa Deluxe will be lighter in weight. Lighter weight will enable better vehicle handling and will also increase the mileage of the vehicle.
On the cosmetic front, the model will definitely have some sticker job but this time it will have an illuminated luggage box. The model will probably be based on Honda Lead model currently present in Europe. The new model is expected to be launched on March 27 2009.
