The Germany based leading luxury car maker Audi has unveiled the new generation version of its popular sedan – Audi A4. The new A4 is a face lifted version of the previous generation of this car. The Audi A4 has been a key to Audi’s success in the Indian market with driving higher volumes as compared to the other Audi portfolio cars in India. The Face-lifted Audi A4 is expected to be launched in the Indian market by first quarter of next year.
The move of unveiling the new generation Audi A4 came after its arch rivals BMW and Mercedes Benz unveiled upgraded versions of their cars in this segment. The two major rivals of Audi A4 saloon in the Indian market – BMW 3 Series and Mercedes Benz C Class – have already been revealed in the updated versions.
The new generation face lifted Audi A4 is incorporated with a series of cosmetic changes at both interior and exterior fronts. The front profile of the car is made more aggressive and stylish with fascinating curvaceous headlamps assemblies, restyled LED running lamps, a new six-corner single-frame grille, trapezoidal shaped fog lamps integrated in re-profiled bumper, etc. The higher variants of the car will be carrying Xenon main beam projector-style headlamps. On the rear side, new LEDs and new bumpers have been added.
On the other hand, the interior of the new Audi A4 is blessed with a series of upgrades including use of high quality material in dashboard and central console trims, newly designed steering wheel, detailed design changes to the switchgear, etc.
However, the engine and most of the other specification details of the car will remain same as of the existing Audi A4 model.
