More details have emerged on the upcoming facelift variants of Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback. Expected to launch in upcoming week, Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback will sport a number of tweaks. While most of the changes done on Etios twins are subtle, the only eminent modification will be seen in the form of a chrome insert on the front grille. Redesigned wing mirrors will now come with integrated blinkers, other than these tweaks rest remains unchanged on the outer front in the sedan. Etios Liva is also expected to receive similar revisions as done on sedan sibling.

Spruced up cabin now comes with better quality seat fabrics and door trims, further improving cabin comfort. Etios sedan gets a two-tone beige colour scheme with faux wooden and chrome accents. On the feature front, equipment such as drive side airbag is likely to be offered as a standard fitment. Features exquisite to range topping trim include electrically adjustable ORVMs and factory-fitted reverse parking sensors.

Technical specifications will be retained, Etios sedan petrol range will house the 1.5 litre petrol engine capable of developing top power output of 90 PS along with peak torque of 132 Nm. Diesel variants will employ 1.4 litre diesel powertrain outputting maximum power of 68 PS and 170 Nm of pinnacle torque.

Etios Liva will also continue to be powered with the same 1.2 litre petrol engine good for 80 PS of towering power and 104 Nm of top torque. Diesel powered Liva will come loaded with the 1.4 litre diesel engine as equipped in Etios sedan. All the engines across Etios sedan and Liva hatchback range will be matched to a five-speed manual gearbox.

With most of the vehicles rolled out in a new avatar in C and B segments, this is rather a much expected tweak received by Etios sedan and hatchback. As for the price, we do not expect much change there.
