A while ago camouflaged images of Bajaj Avenger was seen all over the Internet space. This time around uncomouflaged images have surfaced that provide a better view on the new model. The fully black model model has been named as 'Street' while the other chrome highlight variant has been named as 'Cruise'. The new upgrades are indeed welcome as the bike has been carrying the same old design for quite a long time.
Earlier it was believed that Bajaj Auto may launch the new models with a 200cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that may be borrowed from the Pulsar 200NS. Ending this belief, fresh images with stickers has ended this myth and and the new models shall be offered with the same 219.89cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled unit with oil cooler that generates about 19.03bhp of power at 8,400rpm and 17.5nm of torque at 7,000rpm.
Some of the features that renders a unique appeal to Street are – alloy wheels and matte black paint job. Bajaj has not provided large windshield and cushioned backrest for the pillion rider on Street and it is only offered on the Cruise trim along with glossy paint, new graphics, spoked wheels, and chrome bits. The pricing and more tech details shall be known at the time of its official unveiling in the country. It is likely to offered around the same price or shall have a slightly cost.
