New Audi Q7 due for launch on 10th December, 2015

The Audi Q7 has been a popular choice in the premium SUV segment in India. The company has been working on a facelift version for quite a while now. As per fresh update, the new Audi Q7 is due for launch on 10th December, 2015. The new vehicle is believed to be about 300kgs lighter and slightly smaller than its older trim. Initially, the new model may be brought the country via the CBU route and assembled here at local facility.

Under the hood, the new Audi Q7 would be powered by 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine that may generate about 268bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. The new model shall come mated to eight-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. The vehicle may also get Quattro all-wheel-drive technology badged Q7 45TDI. In terms of design, the new model gets a single piece grill, rectangular LED tail-lamps, angular headlamps, panoramic sunroof and redone front and rear bumpers.

Inside, the upcoming Audi Q7 may get free-standing infotainment display, multimedia controller, new gear lever and an all-new centre console. The new SUV would also get full leather seats with electric adjustment, 19-speaker Bose audio system, four-zone climate control, 360-degree camera, electrically folding third row, all-digital instrument cluster and rich upholstery. For enhanced drive quality the vehicle may also be offered with Drive Select and an air suspension system.
