Chevrolet India is likely to showcase the 2014 Beat facelift at the upcoming 2014 Indian Auto Expo, next month. The hatchback has been a volume generator for the company, ever since its launch. Aiming to rejuvenate their flagship hatchback and to combat well against rivals, Chevrolet is planning to launch the 2014 Beat facelift at the Expo. However, the hatchback deliveries are expected to start from March onwards.
Wearing new cuts and curves, the next-generation Chevy Beat appears to be sportier and more outgoing than its predecessor. The front fascia of the car looks refreshing with all new grille, redesigned front bumper, new mirrors and fog lamps. The rear spoiler too gets positive updates. The 2014 Beat facelift will be assembled with a new set of alloy wheels. However, the interior of the car received minor alternations, and looks identical to the outgoing version. The new centre console and seat upholstery mark distinction to its cabin. Being a global sponsor of the English Premier League team 'MANU', Chevrolet will introduce the Beat facelift in new Manchester United football club's colors as well.
Chevrolet India aims to strengthen their grip over the growing SUV market; therefore, it's planning to bring in the Trailblazer SUV to India, which might be unveiled at the event. The SUV is claimed to be a comfortable seven seater. However, the Trailblazer SUV might still take an year to make its way to India. For Supercar enthusiasts, Chevrolet will bring the Corvette Stingray C7 (boosted with a 6.2-litre V8 powertrain and a seven-speed manual transmission) and the Camaro sports, which will also share the floor with their siblings at the expo.
