MV Agusta has opened its second dealership in the country, in Ahmedabad, and will offer both sales and service for the Italian brand in the state of Gujarat. Under the umbrella of MotoRoyale, a Kinetic subsidiary, the MV Agusta Ahmedabad managed to deliver eight of the exotics on the opening day itself.
Speaking on the launch, Ajinkya Firodia, managing director of MV Agusta India Pvt. Ltd., said, “Gujarat is one of the most important markest for superbikes in India. MV Agusta has received a terrific response in the country, and we have already sold over 15 motorcycles since launch. With our network expansion, and with partners like MV Agusta Ahmedabad, we are confident of MV Agusta’s grand entry in India”.
MotoRoyale also owns the exclusive rights for the brand in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The Pune-based dealer is expected to launch showroom and service facilities in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore before the end of this year and also get a footprint in five other cities by the end of 2017.
MV Agusta currently has the F3 800, the F4 1000, the F4 1000 RR amongst the superbikes and the Brutale 1090 and 1090 RR amongst the streetfighters in its portfolio with prices starting from Rs 17 lakh for the F3 800 to as much as Rs 37.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Ahmedabad) for the F4 1000 RR.
