In the run up to the 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo, many motorcycle manufacturers have announced their line-up for the mega event. The list includes a number of two-wheelers made by foreign companies, though bike makers that are currently operating in the Indian market will also present a fair number of new motorcycles.

Suzuki, the Japanese bike maker, will present its iconic Hayabusa and the Intruder series at the event, including Intruder M800, Bandit S and the Intruder M1800RZ limited edition. The manufacturer’s line-up will also include GSX 1000R, GS 150R and Access 125.

Yamaha, the motosport giant, will debut its Fazer 250 at the 2012 Expo in New Delhi. Apart from this new entrant, the company will also include its popular FZ series in its line-up, along with CBUs like YZF - R1, FZ1, MT-01 and the VMAX. Speculation is rife that the company may also exhibit its 2102 Yamaha R1 and the existing R6 at the exposition.

Ducati, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, will present its India-oriented sub-1000 cc bike 848 Streetfighter at the event. Along with this, Ducati’s stall will also have 1198, Diavel, Hyper Motard, Monster, Multistrada, Sport Classic, 1099 Streetfighter and Streetfighter S, with 1199 Panigale being the highlight.

BMW Motorrad, the two-wheeler arm of BMW, will include HP2, K1300 series, K1600 series, R1200 series, and S1000RR in its 2012 Delhi Auto Expo portfolio. The company will probably exhibit its grand tourers 2012 K1600 GT and K1600 GTL, which have won the ‘International Bike of the Year’ award, alongside C600 Sport and C 650 GT.

TVS Motors will put the ABS-equipped version of Apache RTR 180 on display at the Expo, along with its existing line-up of motorcycles and scooters. Royal Enfield is expected to bring its Enfield Classic 350, Enfield Classic 500, Café Racer, along with a host of concept ideas at the event. Mahindra will bring its Duro DZ scooter and MGP30 racing bike to the event. Harley-Davidson will showcase its 2012 Heritage Softail Classic, along with a number of customised variants of its bikes to show that no two Harleys are the same.

Triumph Motorcycles, the English two-wheeler manufacturer, will enter the Indian market for the first time with its world-renowned Bonneville, Rocket III, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Daytona 675 and Tiger 800XC. Bajaj will launch the KTM series of bikes in India with the unveiling of Duke 200. The company will also exhibit the Kawasaki Ninja 600 cc Sport, alongside Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R and Kawasaki Ninja ZX10-R.

With so many launches, visitors are expected to have a great time at the 2012 New Delhi Expo.
