The Indian arm of Volkswagen, a world renowned German multinational passenger car maker, has opened the doors of its new retail outlet in Goa. The Volkswagen facility has been set up by Mohite Automotive Group, with which it has entered the domestic auto market. The new store is called ‘Volkswagen Goa North dealership’ and will assume responsibilities of sales in the entire Northern Goa and surrounding regions.
Expressing his delight on the opening of new Volkswagen Goa North dealership, Arvind Saxena, Managing Director (MD) of Volkswagen India Private Limited, was quoted as saying, “We have a strong line up of cars in the country and need to make this accessible to customers. Our opening of this dealership with Mohite Automotive is a step towards the same.” The newly opened Volkswagen Goa North retail outlet boasts of being a state-of-the-art facility and provides a world class buying experience to its customers.
Further, speaking on his company’s foray into the Indian auto sector, Abhishek Mohite, Director of Mohite Automotive was quoted as saying, “Mohite Group is happy to have made its foray into the automotive business with a company like Volkswagen and hope to continue to strengthen this association in the future.”
As per reports, the Mohite Automotive group also has a strong presence in adventure motor sports circuit, for which it has set up a world class facility called, ‘Mohite Racing Academy’, as well. With its new Volkswagen store in North Goa, the company has bolstered its presence in the Indian automobile sector and would continue to expand in the country.
