Mitsubishi Pajero Sport’s latest edition of the Heart-in-Mouth rally was held in Pune on February 14, 2015. The presence of the Dakar winner, Hiroshi Masuoka pumped in more adrenaline to the already excitement-filled event.
It was organised on February 14 at Pethkar Motor Grounds, Balwantpuram, Paud Road, Kothrud in Pune. The comeback of the Montero to the Indian market was another icing to the cake. HMFCL management have declared that the Montero through the CKD route just to keep the pricing low at 50 to 55 lakhs INR. If the Montero is imported otherwise, it might take the pricing to 80 to 85 lakhs INR. The company also aims to increase the number of dealerships to 49 from the current 40-41 in the current year.
Masuoka was present at the vent and said, “As a rally driver, I know how much difference a vehicle can make, whether in a race or in everyday driving. For me, a drive in the Pajero has always been an adrenaline shot”. He definitely showed the true potential of the Pajero Sport and its A-class driver assistance systems. Uttam Bose, Managing Director, HMFCL said, “Pune event is yet another endeavour by HMFCL-Mitsubishi to delight its internal and external customers.”
