The Mini One D Clubman has been unveiled in the UK. It is the new entry-level vehicle from the British manufacturer and is available both in manual and automatic guises. It has been priced at 21,375 GBP (Rs 20.59 lakh) for the manual and 22,870 (Rs 22.04 lakh) for the automatic variant.

The One D Clubman is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine that produces 116bhp and 270Nm of torque. It has a 0-100kmph time of 10.4 seconds and a top-speed of 191kmph. The manual is a six-speed box while the automatic is a six-speed steptronic.

For a supposed entry-level variant, this One D Clubman gets quite a lot of features. This list includes automatic headlamps and wipers, fog lamps, cruise control, 16-inch alloy wheels, TPMS, Satellite navigation and floor mats. Customers can also go for the Chili pack which gets leather seats, park assist, climate control and LED lights. On the safety front, this One D Clubman gets six airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners.

BMW had announced during the 2016 Auto Expo that the new Clubman would be coming to India and it is almost certain that this will be the model. It is expected to be priced higher than the regular Mini range but will be locally assembled at BMW’s plant outside Chennai.
