The MG SUV has been spotted on test in Gujrat once again. It’s a test car for what’s essentially MGs first car for the Indian market that was announced in October. This will be a premium SUV that will take on the likes of the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and the Tata Harrier.
The level of camouflage on this car indicates that testing for the vehicle has moved quite ahead given that the shape of the vehicle is visible quite clearly including the outline of the face, profile as well as the design for the alloy wheels.
MG will come to India by the middle of next year with this premium SUV followed by an EV in 2020. Both will be assembled at a new plant that it is setting up in Halol, Gujrat.
