MG Motor India recently celebrated the rollout of 5,000 units of the Hector. The company, which has its factory located in Halol, Gujarat; sold 2018 units of the Hector last month.
Morris Garages also launched a reward scheme for customers who have booked the Hector and are awaiting delivery. According to the scheme, MG Motor will reward every customer with 1,000 points for each week of waiting until the model has been delivered.
Launched in June this year, the MG Hector has received more than 28,000 bookings. The company had to temporarily close bookings for the model and the brand is currently working on upgrading its factory to produce 3,000 units a month. MG Motor India is expected to resume bookings for the Hector soon.
