      Mercedes-Benz to unveil new infotainment system at 2018 CES

      German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has revealed its plans to reveal its next-gen infotainment system at the 2018 CES. While details aren’t exactly clear, the system might debut in the next A-Class in 2018 and then move onto other models. Called the Mercedes-Benz User Experience, or MBUX for short, the system makes use of artificial intelligence for a more intuitive user experience.

      At the moment, the Mercedes-Benz range is fitted with COMAND infotainment. The system can be controlled using a touchpad, rotary knob, hard shortcut buttons, steering wheel controls and voice control. The new system will aim at simplifying the current control system. Along with the new infotainment tech, Mercedes will use CES to show the Concept EQA, the Smart EQ fortwo and the Mercedes-AMG Project One.
