      Mercedes-Benz to launch the 2014 E63 AMG on July 25

      If reports are to be believed, Mercedes-Benz is ready to launch the high performance AMG version of its E63 model, which was recently introduced in India. Slated to be launched on the 25th of July, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG will be an amazing package, loaded with a set of fantastic features. It must be noted that the German autobmobile giant has named 2013 as the 'Year of Offensive' for its operations in India, which can be quantified by the upcoming launches of two different cars in the space of just over a fortnight.

      Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG will be launched on 25th July, following the B-Class Diesel, which will hit the Indian market on the 11th of this month. The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG will be in direct competition with BMW 7 Series and Audi A8L. Some units of 2014 E63 AMG are in the country already and were displayed during Mercedes India Corporate Star Experience, which was held at the Buddh International Circuit. In the global market, this vehicle is available in two variants, including the base and 'S' versions, which are capable of generating outputs of 557 bhp and 585 bhp, respectively. Being introduced in the Indian auto market for the first time, it will come to the country as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

      The 2014 E63 AMG happnes to be a powerful vehicle that will be equipped with a 5.5 litre twin turbo V8 petrol engine. This engine is expected to churn out an ouptut of 557 bhp along with a highest torque of 720 Nm. Designed by AMG, the 7-speed automatic gearbox that will give power to all four wheels, thereby providing drivers with a solid grip under all conditions. The highlights of this car include direct petrol injection, biturbocharging, air-water charge air cooling, generator management and the four-valve technology with camshaft adjustment.

      Getting a sporty look, the new exteriors of this luxury sedan comprise features like new bumpers, wind splitters, twin exhausts, rear spoiler lip and AMG badges. The centre console includes paddle shifters, drilled pedals and an AMG drive unit. Along with this, the interiors are equipped with silver seatbelts, Alcantara inserts and Nappa leather steering wheel. Mercedes-Benz has been quite aggressive in its strategies with regards to the Indian auto market. It has been trying to make a comeback in terms of dominating the market by launching new cars in multiple segments.
