      Mercedes-Benz launches the GLE-Class in Indonesia

      Mercedes-Benz has officially launched the GLE-Class in the Indonesian market and prices start at IDR 1.099 billion (Rs 56.09 lakh).

      To begin with, the car maker has introduced two variants, a GLE 400 Exclusive that will cost IDR 1.209 billion (Rs 61.70 lakh), and the GLE 250 d that’s priced at IDR 1.099 billion (Rs 56.09 lakh). A 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor that belts out 333bhp at 5250rpm and 480Nm at 1600-4000rpm will be offered on the GLE 400 Exclusive along with a dual clutch 7G-Tronic plus gearbox. The GLE 250 d will continue to use the ML 250 CDI’s 2.0-litre diesel engine which produces 203bhp and 500Nm of torque. This engine will be coupled to a 9G-Tronic transmission to power the wheels.
