The Stuttgart headquarters of Mercedes-Benz has just announced the addition of five new E-Class models for the global market, and prices range from 47,713 Euros (Rs 35.56 lakh) to 77,855 Euros (Rs 58.02lakh).
The highlight of this range expansion is the addition of two new all-wheel drive variants, the E220d 4MATIC saloon and the E400 4MATIC Estate,that promise to offer traction even in the most gruelling conditions. Also, the 150bhp E200d Estate and the E350d Estate that makes 258bhp will serve as the bottom and top end models for the diesel powered Estate line up respectively.
There’s also the new Mercedes-AMG E43 4MATIC Estate that is powered by a 401bhp 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo engine. It gets a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission with shorter shift times, the AMG performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive, and a sports suspension that makes for an invigorating experience.
