Mercedes-Benz India, the completely owned subsidiary of German automaker Mercedes-Benz, introduced the Performance Edition of its C-Class with AMG Sports Package. Mercedes-Benz C-Class 250 CDI Avant-garde is reckoned as the most aggressive model in its segment on the grounds of driving mechanism and handling. Now equipped with the AMG Sports Package, the car illustrates this enthusiasm and aggression through its overall appearance and spirit. The AMG Sports package includes various features that make the exteriors of the model sportier and also enhances its interior ambience. Owing to the host of interior and exterior features, the new C-Class AMG Performance Edition comes at a price of Rs. 35,90,516 (Ex-showroom Hyderabad).

The exteriors of the new C-Class Performance Edition boast of AMG body styling, which includes side sill panels and shield in the front as well as rear portions. Besides, the 17 inch AMG 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels offer a majestic look to the car, which is further enhanced by brake callipers with an inscription of the company’s brand name in the front. The perforated disc brakes in the front and advanced sports suspension system are few of the unmatched characteristics of the new C-Class that together make its driving experience more pleasurable. In addition to these features and advancements, the AMG Sports Package also includes stainless steel polished tailpipe trim, new daytime running lights and chrome outlines.
With the AMG package, the C-Class has been bestowed with a host of features that make the interiors more attractive. A 3-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel that is draped in Nappa leather and has 12 function keys adds to the appeal of the car's cockpit. The company has put further emphasis on the styling of the steering wheel of the car by adding red complementary topstitching with flattened lower part and a perforated grip area, which transform long drives into comfortable journeys. In order to make driving easier, the steering wheel of the new Performance Edition C-Class is now fitted with gear shift paddles.
The AMG Sports Package also provides a new instrument cluster in the C-Class, which has 3 analogue dials with pointed tube-style encloses. Also the high-resolution 4.5 inch (11.4 cm) colour display of new C-Class gives an all-new feel of complexity to its interior. Further highlights in AMG Sports interior package include refined stainless steel AMG sports pedals with black rubber hoops, aluminium polished gearshift lever with leather surrounds, and outskirts designed using black fabric. Floor mats of the new edition also come in black colour with AMG lettering. With modified dashboard, a new instrument cluster that holds the integrated colour display, and newly-designed upholstery, the new C-Class Performance Edition boasts of an all-new, sportier cabin.
