Mercedes-Benz India has announced a new extended warranty programme for its customers. This new initiative has been launched in collaboration with Daimler Financial Services India and Reliance General Insurance.
Under this new ‘Advance Assurance Programme’, customers can extend their warranties by up to six years. Basically, after completion of the standard three-year warranty, customers have the option to extend the same for the fourth or up to the sixth year of ownership. Pricing for the fourth year ranges from Rs 33,000 for the A-class to Rs 1,98,000 for the S-class. Until now, the German manufacturer offered extended warranty only up to four years.
These extended warranty programmes can be purchased any time before the completion of the 3rd year of ownership. The customers also have the option of exiting this programme if he or she wishes to, within the standard warranty period. This service is transferrable to other owners and is applicable for unlimited mileage.
