      Mercedes-Benz inaugurates India's largest luxury car parts warehouse

      German automaker Mercedes-Benz has inaugurated the largest parts warehouse in the luxury car industry in Pune. Additionally, the company has also opened its largest retail training academy in South Asia called the ‘Mercedes-Benz Academy’. The Parts Warehouse is spread across 16,500 sq. metres and can accommodate up to 44,000 Stock Keeping Units.

      As for the new retail training centre, it can impart training to 225 participants at any given time. Moreover, the centre has four large bays which can accommodate about two vehicles per bay and two small bays that can accommodate one vehicle per bay. The warehouse gets world class equipment for smooth daily operations. Additionally, it also uses LED lights to save energy and has motion sensors for tracking of movement.
