Taking the E-Class to the next level, Jurgen Eberle, a design engineer from Mercedes-Benz and his team has revealed the E-Class all terrain 4x4 concept. The bold and the muscular E-Class all terrain concept is a combination of the regular E-Class and the G500 4x4's portal axles that has enhanced its ability to take on rough terrains.

Under the hood, reports indicate that the E-Class All Terrain will be powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine that generates 325bhp of power and 480Nm of torque. The powerful engine comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle gets massive 20 inch wheels which are fitted on to carbon fibre wheel arch extenders.

The G500 4x4's suspension components offers a generous 420mm ground clearance for E-Class All Terrain SUV concept. To put things into perspective, it offers additional 160mm of ground clearance over the regular E-Class.

The E-Class all terrain 4x4 concept concept gets a sloping roofline, much like a coupe, to give it a rugged off-roader appeal. The vehicle gets dual exhaust integrated into the bumper and sharp sleek LED taillamps.

As for the front section the E-Class all terrain 4x4 concept gets most of the styling elements like the grille and the headlamps from the regular E-Class. The vehicle gets bold wheel arches in black that that gives a distinctive sporty styling.
