      Mercedes-Benz C-Class to be launched soon

      German car maker Mercedes-Benz is quite aggressive as far as its plans for the Indian market are concerned. Since the beginning of 2013, the brand with three-pointed star has been introducing new models in India, which includes A-Class, B-Class, E-Class and E63 AMG. Due to this sort of approach, the German brand has managed to stage a stunning comeback in the Indian market. In recent times, a lot of rumours have surfaced regarding the launch of new C-Class. Sources claim that given the solid platform Mercedes-Benz has been able to build till now, it is going to launch new C-Class soon in India. It is being said that Mercedes-Benz has worked really hard on improving the overall features of the new C-Class.

      An entry level sedan, the new C-Class is expected to come with a number of technologically advanced features for enhancing comfort and convenience. Notably, Mercedes-Benz officially revealed specifications of new C-Class, which is scheduled to be introduced in the international market. Reports have claimed that the firm is likely to retain a majority of these features in the model that will be introduced in India. Sources claim that interiors of new C-Class have gone through a major makeover, which will make the vehicle look more appealing. It is being said that the next generation C-Class has similarities to a few other models in terms of interior composition and technological advancement. For instance, Mercedes-Benz is likely to add an improved dashboard and a stylish console, which could be inspired from the CLA. Other similarities with CLA, expected to be included in C-Class, are air vents and sloping console in centre. In addition, active fragrancing features like Freeside, Downtown, Sports and Nightlife could be given as options.

      Technology is something that has been the trademark of Mercedes-Benz apart from its class in design. New C-Class is likely to come with COMAND infotainment controller, which features a touch pad capable of reading finger-written texts and gesture command. Another highlight of this new model is going to be the driver-assistance system featuring colour HUD that displays information regarding speed and navigation.
