As per reports from Google, luxury brands like Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz have been popular searched car-makers in the online space. Surprisingly, the good amount of online traffic has been flowing in from smaller towns and cities likes Surat, Ludhiana, Pune and Coimbatore.
As per statement released by Google, “With growing section of rich Indians especially from the young generation being targeted by luxury car companies, Internet is playing small yet considerate role in decision-making process. Smaller cities and towns are now very much part of the mainstream markets with most number of searches emerging from these places as leading luxury car makers fast-moving to these cities.”
Apart from Mercedes Benz and BMW, brands like Audi and Jaguar have also been quite popular in the online space search. Search traffic for Mercedes Benz has been coming in from areas like Thiruvananthapuram, Ludhiana, Vadodara, Ernakulum, and Surat. Whereas, Audi has been more popular in major cities likes New Delhi, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Comparatively, in smaller cities like Coimbatore, Surat, Pune, Bhubaneswar, and Chandigarh, BMW has been attracted more searches. Jaguar has received good online response from areas like Coimbatore, Chinchwad (near Pune), Chennai, Bangalore, New Delhi and Noida.
