The highly anticipated Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar has been teased one final time ahead of its debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show. Built to showcase their developments from their F1 programme, the project One will take on the likes of cars from Pagani and Koenigsegg.

The teaser image shows the rear end of the car as it is being loaded onto a trailer to be carted away for the auto show. This is the first clear image of the car and here we can see a single big exhaust, an aerodynamically designed rear end and three bulb LED tail lamps. Thanks to Lewis Hamilton’s Instagram page, we also know that it will get a futuristic F1 style steering wheel and big display for the touchscreen.

Sitting at the back of this car, will be a turbocharged F1-derived 1.6-litre V6 producing over 1000bhp and an equally high amount of torque. It is expected to be RWD and will get the F1 derived eight-speed AT.

Given the extreme nature of this car, it is expected to have an extreme price and in all probability, already sold out to existing AMG customers. We will be live at Frankfurt 2017 and will get you exclusive images of the AMG Project-One right from the exhibition floor.
