      Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe launch

      The newly launched Mercedes-AMG GLC 4MATIC Coupe has expanded the AMG line to 10 models in India. Interestingly, it is also a second AMG model to be introduced with a coupe-styled SUV body.

      Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that generates 362bhp of power and 520Nm of torque. The AMG spec 9G-Tronic transmission powers all four-wheels. The top speed has been electronically limited to 250kmph. The vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in 4.9 seconds which is about 0.8 seconds faster than the AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe which also gets the similar engine.

      The front gets a diamond radiator grille with chrome pins and a louvre in high-gloss black with insert in high-gloss chrome. The grille also features AMG lettering in high-gloss chrome. The vehicle also gets distinctive airintakes and sporty bumpers.

      The rear section LED taillamps and a sharp spoiler lip and twin exhausts in chrome with a four-pipe look. The AMG GLC 4MATIC Coupe offers an ample boot space of 550-litres.

      Based on the coupe body style, the new vehicle gets a sloping roofline. Originally belonging to the SUV family, the vehicle gets a beefier body styling. Along with distinctive air-intakes, the vehicle also gets sporty bumpers.

      Inside, the dashboard flaunts two large dials and a 5.5-inch central colour multifunction display. Coming from the AMG family, the vehicle gets all black interior with sporty red stitching. The vehicle also gets embossed door sill plates along with AMG fonts and lettering on the instrument cluster.
