Post much wait, Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe has been launched in India for Rs 74.80 lakh ( All India ex-showroom). High performance and a coupe SUV styled body is what distinguish the new AMG GLC 43 Coupe from the regular GLC. With the launch of a new model, the AMG lineup in the country has now extended to 10.
Under the hood, Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe is powered by a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that generates 362bhp of power and 520Nm of torque. The AMG spec 9G-Tronic transmission powers all four-wheels. The engine as well the transmission has been taken from the AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe. However, since the GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe is lighter, it is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in 4.9 seconds (0.8 seconds faster). The top speed has been electronically limited to 250kmph. The vehicle gets five driving modes - Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual.
The newest member from the AMG family, the AMG GLC 43 Coupe gets a diamond radiator grille with chrome pins and a louvre in high-gloss black with insert in high-gloss chrome while the rear features a sharp spoiler lip and twin exhausts in chrome with a four-pipe look. As for the interior, the vehicle gets premium upholstery with AMG logo stitched in the head rests, red seat belts and embossed door sill plates.
The new product will help Mercedes-Benz to further strengthen its foothold in the premium performance segment in India.
