Maserati has finally launched the Levante in India. it is only available in diesel power and across three variants. The 3 variants have been priced at Rs 1.45 crores, 1.48 crores and Rs 1.53 crores respectively. Here then are some of the facts that will help you decide on buying the Levante.
The good
Well, it’s a Maserati - a car that you usually buy with your heart and ego rather than with the purpose of ferrying the kids to school or making quick grocery store runs. Also, this being a Maserati, it looks stunning and is guaranteed to get your attention, thanks to the swanky Italian design as well as uniqueness factor.
Philosophy apart, there is a decent amount of kit for the price that you are paying both in the cabin and underneath. This includes the usual stuff like touchscreen infotainment system climate control, electrically adjustable leather seats and that fine Italian craft work that has defined them for such a long time.
The bad
Compared to its direct rival the Porsche Cayenne, it is a bit impractical. Considering what I said about it being a car you would buy with your heart, that is not that such a bad thing. We also don’t like the fact that Maserati has only brought in the diesel versions.
