From the pictures it’s obvious that Maserati is presently working on the Ghibli facelift. While the current car has been in production since 2014, the new iteration will serve as a mid-life update to the Ghibli.
Only the front and rear end will be updated as these are the portions of the test mule that’s been camouflaged, while the rest of the design will be the same. Through the camouflage, one will notice the chrome trim that highlights the head lamps with new internals, and the more rounded grille with the restyled air dams on the bumper. Sadly, the well-concealed rear portion of the prototype doesn’t reveal any of the design that’s been updated.
At the moment, no information regarding the motors have been revealed, but we expect the current series of engines to find their way into the facelifted car after being tweaked. Maserati may showcase the facelifted Ghibli later this year before launching the car in 2018. So stay tuned to CarTrade for the details.
