Maruti Wagon R, one of the largest selling hatchbacks in the Indian market, has crossed the sales mark of 10 lakh units, the company said in a statement on Sunday. The Wagon R model was launched in the country in year 1998, and since then it has been one of the most preferred small cars in the country.

The Maruti Wagon R is the fourth Maruti portfolio car model that has achieved the milestone of crossing the sales mark of 10 lakh units. The best selling Maruti Alto, multi-purpose van Omni and iconic small car Maruti 800 have already achieved this feat.
