Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the country’s leading car maker which has been facing a tough time with the shutdown of production at their Manesar plant, is now working aggressively to launch the all new Alto 800 in the Indian market. The New Maruti Alto will be competing with the likes of Hyundai EON and Tata Nano in the country.
Earlier, the company was planning to launch the all new alto during the upcoming Diwali season, but the launch was postponed following a deadly violence at the Manesar plant last month. Now is it expected that the new Alto would be hitting the Indian roads by early next year.
The Alto has been company’s highest selling portfolio model in the Indian market for a decade now, and the company is looking forward to take this success even further with rolling-out new Alto in the country.
Meanwhile, the company is also planning to launch the new Alto CNG in the states where it is currently not available. In last few months, there has been a considerable rise in the demand for the CNG version of Alto in the country.
