      Maruti Suzuki WagonR VXi+ launched at Rs 4.69 lakh

      The country’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki has expanded the WagonR range in the country with the launch of new VXi+ variant at Rs 4.69 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant is available with optional front airbags and ABS, and Auto Gear Shift variant. The new VXi+ variant comes forth as top of range variant that carries visual and feature upgrades from the Stingray model.

      Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR VXi+ variant continues to be powered by a 1.0-litre, three cylinder petrol engine which generates 67Bhp at 6200rpm and 90Nm of torque at 3500rpm. The new top-spec variant gets cosmetic upgrades from the Stingray with features like new front grille, alloy wheels and side skirts. For freshness, the vehicle also gets dual - tone interior. The new model is likely to be offered as a replacement to the Stingray hatchback. The new variant prices (Ex-showroom, Delhi) are as follows –

      WagonR VXi+ manual: Rs 4,69,840
      WagonR VXi+ (O) manual: Rs 4,89,072
      WagonR VXi+ AGS: Rs 5,17,253
      WagonR VXi+ AGS (O): Rs 5,36,486

      As compared to the older model, the new variant costs an additional Rs 30,000 over the top-spec VXi trim. The WagonR hatchback from Maruti Suzuki continues to features among country’s top five selling models. The new variant offers additional features for those buyers who always expected additional features in the vehicle.
