After the launch of Stingray model, there seems to be no stopping for Maruti Suzuki, which has recently launched a special edition of WagonR. The leading passenger car manufacturer of India has introduced a new variant of WagonR hatchback named as Madhavan Signature Edition. For endorsing and promoting the car, Actor R. Madhavan appeared in the advertisement that floated in a daily newspaper. The special edition car is adorned with the signature of the actor on the sides and rear part of the vehicle as a part of body graphics.
However the company has not circulated an official press release till now but a statement published in the advertisement reads "A smart choice with exclusive features, great savings and attractive benefits. The new Madhavan Signature Edition WagonR is fully loaded. Rush to your nearest Maruti Suzuki Dealerships and experience it, yourself."
Apart from the different body graphics, the car is also provided few other additional features. The list comprises a 2 DIN Kenwood music system having USB and AUX-in support. Also, the car gets new security feature of rear parking sensors with digital screen. Besides to these, the Madhavan Signature Edition is packed with leather upholstered seats and steering wheel, external Bluetooth kit, new wheel caps and roof mounted rear spoiler.
Maruti Suzuki has mainly addressed basic changes in the special edition of WagonR. The cost of additional accessories and equipments is around Rs. 32000 but the company is trying to lure buyers by asking them to pay just Rs. 20000 over the price of standard variant of WagonR, in order to possess this special edition model. As claimed by the auto maker, buyers can save Rs. 12000 and will be entitled to get discount vouchers worth Rs. 5100 on purchasing the new vehicle. For people opting to finance this car, Maruti Suzuki has exempted 0.5 per cent of interest rate for them. In addition, a select few owners will win a trip to exotic holiday destinations.
