Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza crosses 10,000 unit sales once again

The Vitara Brezza’s success story is not new to the automotive fraternity. Supporting claims, the compact SUV has for the second time since launch, has crossed the 10,000 unit sales mark. Reports indicate that the country’s largest automaker has sold around 10, 056 Vitara Brezza units in the Indian market last month. The impressive growth is attributed to the festive season and the last time when it witnessed comparatively bigger numbers was back in July with 10,232 units.

As per reports, Maruti Suzuki has sold over 60,000 units of the compact SUV since its launch in March this year and by the end of this year, hopes to reach the 1 lakh sales mark. As of now, the popular selling model attracts a waiting period of about six to eight months depending on the variants and the company is working on enhancing its outputs to cater to surging demand. Apart from being an impressive seller for Maruti Suzuki, the model also features among top 10 bestselling cars in the country last month.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is available in LDi/LDi (O), VDi/VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+ variants with prices starting around Rs 7.19 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Powered by a 1.3-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, the vehicle generates around 88bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The fairly powered engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The automaker also has plans for a petrol variant, which might be introduced at a later date.
