Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch a Limited Edition model of SX4 this month. Maruti had launched the model in 2007 to replace its existing model Baleno and to increase its share in the sedan market. The new Limited edition model will be launched with facelifted features and will be priced at least Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 higher than its existing variant. The existing model is already Bharat Stage IV compliant and equipped with Variable Valve Timing mated with option of a four-speed automatic transmission.
The new Limited edition model of SX4 will have new upgraded features like all new chrome decals, parking sensors, bootlid spoilers and OVRM’s. Apart from this, interiors will have leather covers and reading light for passengers. The new variant will be competing with models like Chevrolet Aveo, Honda City, Ford Fiesta and Hyundai Verna.
The new limited edition model is being launched to boost sales and attract new customers planning to own a new premium sedan with all luxury features.
