To be launched across the global market, internationally it could get two petrol engine options - 1.0-litre, turbocharged 3-cylinder Boosterjet engine that would generate 110bhp of power and 170Nm of torque, while the 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol mated to the company's very own SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) -mild hybrid technology generates about 88bhp of power and 120Nm of torque. In India, the engine could likely be tweaked to suit local conditions.

In terms of design, the Ignis gets large headlamps that has been integrated with smart front grill to give it a futuristic look. The wheel arches have flared-up design with bold 18-inch alloys. The vehicle also gets an SUV resembling bonnet that gives it a masculine look. In Europe, the automaker may also offer the Ignis with an AWD system.
