      Maruti Suzuki Ignis spotted uncamouflaged ahead of official launch

      Ahead of its anticipated launch on January 13, the Ignis from Maruti Suzuki has been spotted in production ready form. The vehicle has already been introduced in the European market at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and this time around the mini crossover has been spotted undisguised ahead of its official launch in the country.

      As seen in images, this one in particular seems to be a top-spec Ignis variant and shares a decent amount of resemblance to the concept version. The one in pictures get electrical ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators, black alloy wheels and plastic underbody cladding. As for the rear section, the bumper comes with plastic cladding, LED taillamps and a rear windshield wiper. The interior gets dual colour dashboard and door panels, DAB radio with Bluetooth and front electric power windows. The higher spec version will additionally offer navigation support, keyless entry, rear view camera and individually sliding rear seats.

      Maruti Suzuki Ignis will be sold via premium Nexa dealerships in the country; therefore you can expect to see dual front airbags and ABS being offered as standard safety features. The upcoming vehicle will be available in petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version will be powered 1.2-litre K-Series engine, while the diesel version will be powered by a 1.3-litre diesel engine option. The compact crossover will be offered in manual and CVT transmission option.
