Dakshin Dare, Maruti Suzuki's biggest motorsport events and one of the most anticipated rally of South India, is back in its 9th edition this year. The rally will begin in Bengaluru on 16 July and finish at Pune on 22 July.
The organisers have added a big twist in this year's event by adding Pune as one location. Earlier, the rally was restricted to the southern regions of India and, this time, the race will foray into the terrains in the west too. The rally will be flagged off from Orion Mall, Rajaji Nagar, Bengaluru on 16 July. The prize distribution will take place in Pune on the last day.
This year, more than 200 participants are expected to compete in this gruelling journey that will cover 2,200kms. The rally will cover Bengaluru, Chitradurga, Belgaum, Kolhapur and Pune.
