Maruti Suzuki's flagship sedan Ciaz seems to be gaining good momentum in its segment. As per sources, Maruti has already sold over 50,000 units in national as well as overseas market, all this in just about eight months since launch. Until now Hyundai's Verna has been the second best seller after Honda City in the country. But now, Maruti Suzuki's Ciaz sedan has claimed the second spot pushing the Verna from Hyundai to the third position.
The Ciaz trim is currently available in petrol as well as diesel variant. The petrol trim gets a 1.4 Litre engine that is capable of generating a maximum power output of about 99.4 PS of power with a peak torque output of about 130 Nm. The diesel trim gets 1.3 litre engine that produces with 89.7 PS of power with 200 Nm of torque. Both, the petrol as well as diesel trims come mated to a five speed gearbox. The Ciaz sedan from Maruti Suzuki is offered for a price tag ranging between Rs. 7.21 – 10.37 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
