Maruti Suzuki, a leading player in the hatchback segment has further strengthened its position in the hatchback segment with the recently introduced Baleno hatchback. This time around it is believed that the company may showcase the Baleno RS concept at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo event in the country. Apart from this, the company would also be showcasing the Ignis hatchback that would be launched sometime later this year and the much awaited Vitara Brezza compact SUV.
It is believed that the Maruti Baleno RS concept would be powered by 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine that would generate about 110 bhp of power. Though test mules of this particular powerful variant have been spotted on numerous occasions, it is to be seen when the company would officially launch the same. Apart from a new engine, the hatchback would also get fresh cosmetic upgrades.
