With Diwali, the biggest Indian festival just round the corner, every car maker in the country is giving in their best try to maximise the sale of their cars. Car makers are offering discounts and offering freebies in order to lure buyers.
Maruti is offering a huge discount of Rs. 35,000 on Zen Estillo till November 30, 2012. This offer is on all the variants of Estillo and is likely to give in a boost to its sales.
The car makers in the country have largely banked on the festive season this year to increase their sales, which so far had remained sluggish owing to increased fuel prices, inflation, high interest rates and depreciating Indian currency.
The auto makers came up with a good number of new launches this season; however, Maruti Alto 800 drew the biggest attention with a booking of more than 10,000 units even before it was launched. Maruti is now offering discounts on Estillo and some other models to increase their sales figure as well.
The petrol and CNG variants of Wagon R and A-Star are coming with a discount Rs. 30,000. The petrol, diesel and CNG variant of SX4 sedan, too, is available at a discount of Rs. 30,000.
The company, however, is not offering any discounts on the models like Alto 800, Swift hatchback and Swift Dzire sedan, which are already doing well in the Indian market.
