      Maruti has a lot to share

      The lull in Maruti's camp has seemingly opened its fast with news of quite a few future releases by Maruti Suzuki in India being in headlines, in the Indian Auto market. The leading carmakers are ostensibly set to retaliate its challengers who in the mean time have come up with loads of releases every month. The Indian auto industry is believed to acquire limelight almost every day with some or the other brand bringing something new to the camp. Maruti Suzuki has planned to introduce a number of models in the coming years or during the slog months of 2011.

      One of the weapons that the Maruti's artillery possesses is the replacement of Maruti Gypsy which is called Maruti Jimny. The reports within the auto industry and perceptions made by people have proved to be wrong by Maruti. The future car Jimny would be unveiled along with a petrol engine which is expected to be followed by the diesel variant too. The engine can be described as having a 1300cc motor that would produce 80 bhp of power and maximum torque of 100 nm. The engine may also be of K -series 1200cc capable of generating 84bhp.

      Another vehicle ready to be rolled-out in the coming months is Maruti Cervo. The compact segment car would try to pacify the outburst caused due to the discontinuation of the exemplary and evergreen Maruti 800. Also, the future car would definitely instigate Tata's Nano for competition and can hurt its sales trend. The smooth and skilful finishes and an attractive contour may steal the show. It is expected to possess a 3-cyl 650cc engine that would attain a power of 54 bhp and a torque of 64 rpm. The engine description ensures a normal smooth ride anytime in the city or on highways.

      Of late, Maruti Suzuki has launched the very refreshing and exciting versions of Maruti Swift and Maruti Dzire. The new Swift would acquire changes in the design, interiors and size of the body, which has been stretched a bit. The petrol version of the latest Swift would have a 1200cc K-series engine which manages the power of up to 84 bhp and a torque of 114 nm to be attained. On the other hand the diesel would consist of a 1300cc engine that is being tested vigorously and even accepted by all. The diesel variant engine would produce a power of 75bhp and torque of 195 nm. The fresh Swift shows off an elongated look. The new Dzire has also been transformed on the same lines as Swift in order to ensure that the introductions are liked instantly and the bookings sources must confirm a houseful.

      The leader is also expected to exhume a 7seater MUV along with Diesel Grand Vitara so that the Maruti products are ubiquitous in the news as well as in the auto arena. The time is right and wants the axe to hit the hot iron.
